Requirements for Active Police Officers:

1. • Applicants must be currently serving as active police officers and be in good standing with their department.
2. • An annual signed VE-PEC form from their police department is required for verification.
3. • Possession of a valid FOID card.
4. • A valid driver’s license.
5. • Ability to provide agency identification and utilize company uniforms.
6. • Proficiency in utilizing a working cell phone and company app.
7. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. • Must be physically capable of standing for up to 8 hours.

11. Requirements for Retired Police Officers:
12. • Retired police officers who have been retired for more than 12 months are eligible for employment.
13. • Retired officers must have or obtain PERC (Permanent Employee Registration Card) and FCC (Firearm Control Card) to comply with IDFPR regulations.
14. • Retirees must have retired in good standing with verifiable credentials.
15. • A valid FOID card is required.
16. • A valid driver’s license.
17. • Ability to provide agency identification and utilize company uniforms.
18. • Proficiency in utilizing a working cell phone and company app.
19. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
